- 20 Tasmeen 8877 (Vulcan Calendar): Spock journeys alone into the Llangon Mountains of Vulcan's Forge in an effort to determine whether he should follow Human or Vulcan traditions. He is nearly killed by a le matya, but is saved first by his pet sehlat, I-Chaya, and then by a man he believed to be his distant cousin, Selek, but was in fact his older self, who traveled back in time from 2269 to save his own life.[7]
