U.S.S. Hood (Constitution class)

The Federation Starship Hood, a Constitution class cruiser, was commissioned on Reference Stardate 2/1304 (August 2270). The Hood was modified to Refit Mark I specifications on Reference Stardate 2/1704 (April 2273).[1][2] Lori Desmonal served as a junior officer aboard the Hood for three years, from 2270 through 2272.[3] The Hood was destroyed on Reference Stardate 2/3503 (March 2298).[4]

  2. Although the "Federation Ship Recogniton Manual" lists a launch date of 2/1704 for the Hood, the FASA supplement "The Strider Incident" establishes that Lt. Desmonal served aboard the ship for three years, beginning six years prior to the events of the adventure. As the previous vessel named Hood was scrapped c.2/1201, the conflict was resolved by adjusting the ship's launch date, and having the ship be refit at the time of the original launch date.
