Rigel VI became part of the United Federation of Planets when the United Rigel ColoniesRigel II, Rigel IV, Rigel V, Rigel VI, and Rigel X—joined the Federation in 2202. By the late 24th century, the population of Rigel VI had grown to include 167 million Humans and 48.9 million Rigelians.[1]
