A blue-and-white, Class M planet, Laskitor III was located between Federation and Tzenkethi space. It possessed an abundance of natural, though not exotic or particularly valuable, resources, and was uninhabited. In 2383, however, the Federation began ferrying colonists from Entelior IV, which had been ravaged by the Borg Invasion of 2381, to Laskitor III, sparking a confrontation between the two powers.[ 1 ]
