Traditional showers used jets of water, combined with soap and other cleansers, to wash dirt, oils, and other debris from a person's body. On Stardate 1704.2, Commander Spock and Lieutenant, j.g. Tormolen were investigating a scientific research outpost on Psi 2000; the entire research staff was dead, including one found frozen to death in the shower, fully clothed.[1]
