- RSD 2/20: Records show that a childhood disease leaves R'thlana's child damaged. R'thlana steals her child from the nursery and disappears, eventually making her way into the Triangle. After a brief search, she is declared k'manatram by the Senate.[1]
- RSD 2/20: Lieutenant Commander Joshua Scott meets with the Chief of Star Fleet Intelligence, Chief of Star Fleet Operations, and the Secretary of Star Fleet. They explain the growing Orion situation in the Triangle, and ask Scott to enter the area undercover. The mission, they explain, will be extremely dangerous, and there will be little reward for success. Scott accepts and begins an intensive program of counter-espionage and Orion culture.[1]

- RSD 2/2005: Commodore Sonam requests a Star Fleet crew to respond to Bonus Run, an Orion colony trade world. According to their instructions, they are to assist in locating and recruiting a k'manatram, an outcast from Romulan society.[5][2]
- RSD 2/2005: The Chandley class frigate U.S.S. Blackheart NCC-2327, patrolling the rimward frontier, is reported missing. A communications buoy is later recovered that describes the presence of a small object parallelling the Blackheart's course. There is no verified correlation between this vessel's disappearance and that of the U.S.S. Genser several months earlier.[2]

- RSD 2/2008: The Reliant class research cruiser U.S.S. Invicta NCC-26246 and the Constitution class cruiser U.S.S. Hornet NCC-1778 locate hull and engine components from the U.S.S. Menke 280 parsecs away from the Menke's last known position eleven years earlier.[2]
