A bed was a piece of furniture used for sleeping, which typically consisted of a flat, elevated surface with a cushioned mattress pad.[1] Harry Mudd concealed a stash of illegal Venus drug under the mattress of the bed in his quarters while aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 on Stardate 1329.1.[2]
