Plastaform[1] was a starship construction material in use in the mid-23rd century. In an attempt to trick the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 into believing that his ship had been destroyed during an engagement on Stardate 1709.2, the commander of a Romulan Bird of Prey dispersed wreckage from his damaged ship—metal molds, conduits, and plastaform—as well as the body of a centurion for the Federation ship to detect.[2]
