Aurelan[1] was the wife of George Samuel Kirk, with whom she had three sons.[2] While on Deneva with George and their son, Peter, in 2267, the colony was attacked by neural parasites. The Kirks were infected shortly before the arrival of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701, commanded by George’s brother, James T. Kirk. George succumbed to the immense stresses placed on his body by the parasites before the family could be found by an Enterprise landing party led by Jim. Aurelan soon succumbed as well, after being taken aboard the Enterprise, dying before a cure could be found.[1]
