Black Jaguar class (SFC)

A variant of the Jaguar class war cruiser, the Black Jaguar class war cruiser leader (CWL), introduced in 2274, was used as a squadron leader or as a substitute command cruiser. The CWL featured a crew complement of 400, a capacity of eight shuttlecraft, and was equipped with two science labs, four transporters, two tractor beam emitters, and two mech tractors. The class was armed with two Expanding Sphere Generators, four banks of Type-3 disruptors, six banks of Type-1 phasers, and four banks of Type-3 phasers. The CWL remained in service until 2296, when it was superseded by the CWLP refit, introduced in 2284. The CWLP traded two banks of Type-3 phasers for Type-1s.[1]
