U.S.S. Lafayette (FASA)
The Federation Starship Lafayette was a heavy cruiser commissioned after the end of the Four Years War, succeeding the Bonhomme Richard class U.S.S. Lafayette NCC-1720. In 2209, Lieutenants Fayel R'Zaad and Joshua Scott were assigned to the Lafayette, a heavy cruiser; R'Zaad as weapons officer, and Scott as an assistant engineering officer. The Lafayette engaged and destroyed an Orion pirate vessel in 2210, causing a personal crisis for R'Zaad, who was half-Orion.[1]
