Magna Carta

The Magna Carta was an ancient Earth document which limited the power of government, signed under duress by King John of England in 1215.[1] Samuel Cogley, in an impassioned defense of Captain James T. Kirk during court martial proceedings on Stardate 2945.7, cited the Magna Carta as an example of the right to due process in courts of law.[2]
