The Federation Starship Boyce was an Olympic class research science vessel. In 2409, the Boyce was attacked by Gorn vessels in the Xarantine system while installing a network of solar collectors.[1] Presumably named for Dr. Phillip Boyce, CMO of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 in 2254.
