Notes and References

  1. Though multiple secondary sources list the Horizon as being responsible for first contact with the Iotians, the Star Trek: Enterprise novel "Kobayashi Maru" revealed that it was actually the E.C.S. Horizon that was responsible, an assertion reinforced by the presence of the book "Chicago Mobs of the Twenties" in Travis Mayweather's quarters in the Enterprise episode "Horizon."
