The Federation Starship Potemkin,[1] a Constitution class cruiser, was authorized by the Starfleet Appropriation of Stardate 0965[2] and commissioned on Reference Stardate 1/9206 (June 2249).[3] Kristine Reardon served her cadet cruise aboard the Potemkin on Reference Stardate 1/93 (2250).[4] The ship was refit to Mark III specifications on Reference Stardate 2/0410 (October 2262).[3] The Potemkin participated in the disastrous tests of the M-5 multitronic computer in 2268.[5] On Reference Stardate 2/1201 (January 2270), the Potemkin was destroyed.[3]
