U.S.S. Sentry (FASA)
On Reference Stardate 1/5105.02 (02 May 2208), the Federation Starship Sentry, an Advance class vessel commanded by Captain Francis Benoit, made contact with a personal, warp-capable shuttle near Gamma Demetrius. When the pilot of the shuttle and his family were granted temporary political asylum, the Klingon warship Devisor, commanded by Captain Korall, exchanged fire with the Sentry before departing, vowing to return and wreak havoc on the Federation.[1][2]

On Reference Stardate 1/5105.02 (02 May 2151), the Federation Starship Sentry, an Advance class vessel commanded by Captain Francis Benoit, made contact with a personal, warp-capable shuttle near Gamma Demetrius. When the pilot of the shuttle and his family were granted temporary political asylum, the Klingon warship Devisor, commanded by Captain Korall, exchanged fire with the Sentry before departing, vowing to return and wreak havoc on the Federation. Numerous intelligence operatives had denied the likelihood of another hostile race on Federation borders, but the first contact between the two powers led immediately to conflict.[1][2]
