FASA Timeline
In July 2055, the warp drive program resulted in the first vessel to exceed the speed of light, the WD-1. Rosy, a chimpanzee sent along for the ride, was recovered safe and sound by the Companion class escort U.N.S.S. Fisher, commanded by Captain Richard Hanna[1]
