Prime Timeline
(The root of all realities)

Telepathy was the ability to communicate by thought, rather than speech or gesture. It was once (perhaps overly simplistically) summarized by Captain Christopher Pike as "you can read my mind, I can read yours."[1] After being exposed to the Galactic Barrier on Stardate 1312.1, Gary Mitchell began to display numerous ESP abilities, including telepathy.[2]
