Adar was a Romulan who lived on Gasko Station in 2409. Soon after coming aboard, Adar took over as the station's new commander, and quietly made a deal with the Tal Shiar. Those who opposed him, like Hiven, were quickly taken into custody and executed, though Hiven managed to avoid execution due to the intervention of the crew of a visiting Romulan Republic vessel, whom Adar had intended to capture and hand over to Tal Shiar Colonel Hakeev. Adar was killed after Hakeev and his crew beamed to the station and a firefight erupted in Adar's office.[1]
