A junior Ferengi envoy, Sub-Dealer Prott was part of a diplomatic mission to the Venette Convention in 2383. Prott engaged in a lively dispute with one of the Cardassian diplomats over the ownership of a chair, and Madame Ilka, the lead diplomat of the mission, believed that he needed to undestand exactly who was in charge of the mission and to take direction accordingly.
