Rigel X became part of the United Federation of Planets when the United Rigel Colonies—Rigel II, Rigel IV, Rigel V, Rigel VI, and Rigel X—joined the Federation in 2202. By the late 24th century, the population of Rigel X had grown to 35.9 million.[1]
