Prime Timeline
(The root of all realities)

The Federation Starship Titan was a Luna class[1] tactical heavy cruiser, designed to counter threats such as the Romulan Star Empire and the Borg Collective.[2] Captain William Riker took command of the Titan[3] when the ship was commissioned in 2379,[2] Riker and his wife, Commander Deanna Troi, were both stationed aboard the Titan, and their children, Thaddeus and Kestra Riker-Troi[4] were both[2] born aboard the Titan.[5]

In 2380, Riker led the Titan on a series of successful and dangerous tactical missions,[1][6] stabilizing Federation space along its borders in the Beta Quadrant. After suffering significant damage, the ship was recalled from service in 2398.[2]

At that time, Riker took an extended leave of absence to care for his terminally ill son, Thaddeus,[4] and was succeeded by Captain Liam Shaw.[7] The ship was scrapped, though many of its components were recycled into its successor, the Constitution III class U.S.S. Titan NCC-80102-A,[2] also commanded by Shaw.[7]
