Myriad Universes: Cyrano Jones
Cyrano Jones was an independent trader in the 23rd century. In 2256, his ship, the S.S. Fortuna, was set upon by Klingon forces led by J'Ula, the matriarch of House Mo'Kai.[1] The Klingons forced Jones to send out a false distress signal,[2] luring a nearby Starfleet vessel, a Malachowski class ship on a cadet training cruise, into a trap.[1] After fending off Klingon boarding parties, the Starfleet ship helped Jones repair the damage to the Fortuna, and he fled the area before hostilities resumed.[2]
