Zden was a Reman colonist on Crateris; he lived near the communications tower on the outskirts of the colony with his daughter, Veril. When the Tal Shiar and the Elachi attacked the colony in 2409, Zden helped the crew of a Romulan Republic ship to organize an evacuation.
