Franklin D. Roosevelt was the United States President[1] beginning in 1933.[2] In 1936, he met with Edith Keeler, leader of a pacifist movement that ultimately delayed the United States of America's entry into the Second World War. This delay gave the Nazis sufficient time to develop nuclear weapons and ultimately win the war.[1]
