In 2254, shortly after SD2385.7, the Savannah rendezvoused with the U.S.S. Hawking, where it took aboard J.M. Colt, then ferried her to a second rendezvous, this time with the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701. Colt transferred to the Enterprise aboard the Shuttlecraft Balboa NCC-1622/1, which then retrieved the bodies of three Enterprise crew members who had died in an incident on Rigel VII several days earlier.[1]
