The Keller class was introduced in 2056. Interplanetary high-speed ambulances such as the Keller class improved the survival rates of severely sick and injured people in the Solar system with quicker access to Earth-based medical facilities. The Keller class was 81 meters long, massed 1910 tons, was powered by an advanced fusion drive, and carried a complement of 30 officers, crew, and medical personnel. The class was removed from service in 2083.[1]
