Daniels was a temporal agent from the 31st century, and described himself as "more or less" Human. He was imbedded undercover as a Starfleet officer at key points in history, including aboard the Enterprise NX-01 in 2151,[1] as well as aboard the U.S.S. Pioneer NCC-1500 in 2270,[2] where he fought a Temporal Cold War against factions who would change the timeline.[3] He also rescued promising Starfleet officers from their deaths in 2256[4] and 2270,[5] transporting them forward in time to 2409 and recruiting them as temporal agents,[6] giving them new cover identities in the process.[7]
