The Dimorusians were a rodent-like species from the planet Dimorus. Some time prior to Stardate 1313.1, some Dimorusians, which Gary Mitchell referred to dismissively as "rodent things," threw poisoned darts at James T. Kirk, which Mitchell intercepted, saving Kirk's life, nearly at the cost of his own.[1]
