Satra was the spokesperson for a group of Romulan refugees that were taken in by a Suliban colony in an old Helix in 2409. When the Helix came under attack by the Tal Shiar, Satra agreed to let her people be taken into the care of the Romulan Republic and joined the crew of a Republic warbird as a science officer, in exchange for the word of the warbird's commander that her people would be safe.[1]
