Romulan Admiral Enellis Vellon, who supported Tomalak's bid to accompany a joint exploratory mission between the Romulan Star Empire and the United Federation of Planets as an adviser in 2383, was a vocal supporter of the Tal Shiar and its more extreme positions on national security.[1]
