- Stardate 47439.5 (9 June): After weeks of cataloguing supernovae, quasars, and uninhabited systems, a Starfleet ship pick up a strange metallic object on their sensors, and realize it must be an alien ship, which contains a massive forest, inhabited by strange alien lifeforms.[1]

- Stardate 47515.4 (July 7)-47536.5 (July 14): A Starfleet crew must make contact with and recover the U.S.S. Alcubierre, a test-bed for a new type of warp drive. They discover a group of Romulans that has been taken over by the same intelligent parasites that tried to take control of Starfleet six years earlier. The crew finds a Klingon base has also been taken over, and the parasites are experimenting on the Klingons' genetic structure in hopes of creating a super-host. Meanwhile, the parasites are trying to activate an ancient Iconian gateway.[2]
