Precontact Era (SFU)
From Trekipedia
Prehistory to 2404
- Vulcans spend centuries in space as explorers. Klingons and Hydrans' early space travel is spent as crew aboard Precursor spacecraft.[1]
- A group of Vulcan rebels flees its home planet and eventually settles on the twin planets of Romulus and Remus. The Vulcans (and Romulans) have non-tactical warp spaceflight from at least this time.[1]
2283
-Y117
- The Seltoran Revolt occurs in M81 in the Tholian home galaxy. Most Tholians are wiped out, but some escape in a diaspora. Two groups (a small Dyson Sphere and the 312th Battle Squadron) head for the Milky Way galaxy. The Seltorans later send expeditions to other galaxies to hunt down and destroy the last of the Tholians.[1]
2375
-Y25
- The Old Kings return their Klingon starship crews to Klinzhai, abandoning some of their obsolete or inoperative equipment behind, and they leave for parts unknown.[1]
2401
Y1
- Vulcans make first contact with Humans[2] as Humans develop what will be known as non-tactical warp drive. The Vulcans are already in contact with other spacefaring races in the region, such as the Andorians and the Rigellians.[1]
2402
Y2
- The Klingons build chemical-energy rocket boosters and primitive space capsules, using those to reach the obsolete ships left behind in their system by the Old Kings. WIthin a few years, the Klingons manage to make some of the old ships operational.[1]
2404
Y4
- Humans, Vulcans, Andorians, Alpha Centaurans, Rigellians, and others form a loose pact that will eventually become the United Federation of Planets.[2][1]
