rinculus (First Splinter)

The rinculus, which lives along the desert sands of Grevven II, a hellish world within the Breen Confederacy, has a dozen shining, jet-black eyes, a pale, segmented body and long fangs flowing with neurotoxins. Though low to the ground, the beast can rear up on its two pairs of hind limbs, bringing it to a greater height than most Breen. Its venom does not kill its prey, but immobilizes it, so that the rinculus can then puncture its flesh and devour its internal organs.[1]
