The Federation Starship Axanar was a Larson class destroyer. Constructed to Mark II specifications and commissioned in December 2264, the Axanar was was refit to the Larson class Mark VI specifications in May 2272; in September 2274, the Axanar was given a final refit to the Mark VII configuration. By June 2281, the Axanar was still in active service.[1]
