  • RSD 1/44: The opulent Stellarford class starliner enters service. These liners have double the passenger capacity and much longer range than any commercial ship in space.[1]
  • RSD 1/44: The Shuttle Plane enters service. With a complement of 69, the shuttles were limited to sublight speeds.[1]
