Intrepid class[1]

The Federation Starship Blackthorne, an Intrepid (II) class light explorer[2] commanded by Captain Thaan Pentis, successfully destroyed a Dominion battlecruiser while conducting patrol duty in the Styx Rift in 2374, prior to the Second Battle of Vulcanis.[3]
