H'atoria was a barely-habitable Class P world in Klingon space. There was a research lab on the planet that in 2409 was being used by Amar Singh, who was experimenting with genetic engineering techniques on Klingon and Gorn subjects. The Klingons who were assigned to the frigid world complained that it may have been even worse than Rura Penthe.^[1]
