A Venus drug was a narcotic chemical compound that supposedly made people more attractive to others, and was was illegal in the United Federation of Planets. According to Harcourt Fenton Mudd, who used a Venus drug in a scheme to defraud a group of lithium miners on Rigel XII, "it give[s] you more of whatever you have. … [W]ith men, it makes them more muscular. Women, rounder. Men, more aggressive. Women, more feminine."
