Stardate 19:26.11: The Animal People—They lived like beasts but rebelled like men!

The Enterprise comes to the aid of a planet which is being overrun by maddened animals. Spock discovers that the "animals" are intelligent, but this knowledge puts the landing party in danger because planetary leaders want to keep this information secret.
