Larson class[1]
The Federation Starship Charlemagne was a Larson class destroyer. Commissioned in June 2253, the Charlemagne was was refit to the Larson class Mark II specifications in August 2257, giving it more powerful phasers and an additional torpedo launcher. December 2267 saw another refit, this time to the Mark VI configuration; in February 2276, the Charlemagne was given a final refit to the Mark VII configuration. By June 2281, the Charlemagne was still in active service.[1]
