Larson class[1]
The Federation Starship Coral Sea was a Larson class destroyer. Commissioned in February 2246, the Coral Sea was was refit to the Larson class Mark II specifications in June 2258, giving it more powerful phasers and an additional torpedo launcher. February 2268 saw another refit, this time to the Mark VI configuration; in January 2273, the Charlemagne was given a final refit to the Mark VII configuration. By June 2281, the Charlemagne was still in active service.[1]
