Prime Timeline
(The root of all realities)

Gary Mitchell once spent a night on Deneb IV with a woman that he later described as "nova." His friend James T. Kirk later claimed that he had worried about Mitchell ever since. According to Mitchell's records, while he was on Deneb IV, he "showed a marked ability in sensing the telepathic communication used by the inhabitants" and "carried on long telepathic communication with selected Deneb IV natives," scoring at least 80% on comprehension.[1]
