Denison Morad, resentful of the Cardassian Union's fall after the Dominion War, crashed his ship into a Federation-provided industrial replicator on Cardassia Prime. He was given an unexpectedly-light sentence of 100 days in the Hutet labor camp by Archon Makbar, who was secretly a member of the True Way; he was later recruited into that organization. In 2383, Morad and the True Way joined forces with the Tzenkethi Coalition—and by extension, the Typhon Pact—to create an artificial wormhole. Morad was killed aboard the I.R.W. Vetruvis when it was destroyed inside the wormhole.[1]
