Detrek, a tall, stern Cardassian woman with iron hair and flinty eyes, was representative of the strong-minded individuals that had come to populate the upper ranks of the Cardassian civil service in the years following the end of the Dominion War. In 2383, Detrek was assigned to head the Cardassian delegation to the Venette Convention.[1]
