Saul Rubichik was a beloved professor at Starfleet Academy. On one occasion, Ensign Beckett Mariner and Commander Jack Ransom stole his prized automobile and drove it into San Francisco Bay, a story that Lieutenant Ottessa Warren was horrified to hear, as she was close to Rubichik and had spoken at his funeral.[1]
