The Shuttlecraft Copernicus was assigned to the U.S.S. Pioneer NCC-1500. On Stardate 6147.4, the Copernicus ferried a landing party to the surface of Taurus II to conduct a search and rescue operation for survivors of a science vessel that crashed on the planet.[1][2]
