Stardate 3248.6: Bio-magnetic tape—lifeblood of a dying planet—is hijacked!
The inhabitants of an entire planet, recorded on magnetic tape, are hijacked and held for ransom. The Enterprise must recover the tape before the hijacker destroys it.
