Tuvan Syndrome (First Splinter)

A neurological disease that affected Romulans, Tuvan Syndrome first stole its victim's motor skills, then ravaged their mind. In time, a Romulan afflicted with the disease would grow incapable of recognizing loved ones, eventually resulting in the patient's lingering, debilitating death.^{[ 1 ]}
