Baker class[1]
The U.S.S.Baker, first brought into service on Reference Stardate 2/1606, was the prototype vessel of the Baker class and had a unique development history. Originally intended as a research cruiser, the Baker was redesignated a destroyer and underwent significant design changes.[1]
